Omega Communities has positioned itself to be the lead developer and operator of Senior Living Communities in affinity relationships with significant and growing local churches and other mission-based organizations. Omega offers preferred locations, superior services and care, and properties adjacent to community-impacting churches. Omega residents come from the sponsoring church membership, the surrounding community, and from families desiring to relocate aging parents. By capitalizing on the vast experience in development, architecture, financing, marketing and relationships in the faith-based community, Omega is able to execute an innovative strategy to meet the substantial senior housing demands for the future. Omega intends to develop a minimum of 30 senior living communities over the next decade.
Alegent Creighton Health carries on the faith traditions of our founders: The Sisters of Mercy, the Immanuel Lutheran communities, and the Jesuits of Creighton University. Each brought a distinct way of practicing the Christian faith, but all shared a calling and passion for serving those most in need in our community through compassionate care and excellence in medicine. In 2012, Catholic Health Initiatives accepted full sponsorship of Alegent Creighton Health bringing the together 15 acute care hospitals, 4 behavioral health facilities, 2 specialty hospitals, over 120 clinics, and multiple health services across the Nebraska and Iowa region to carry on this healing ministry.
