The Company`s principal projects are the Mara Rosa project in the state of Goiás, and the Lavras do Sul project in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. The Posse Deposit at Mara Rosa contains a resource  1,174,900 ounces of gold Measured & Indicated from 20.1MTonnes @ 1.75 g/t Au, 156,400 ounces of gold inferred from 3.6MTonnes grading 1.34 g/t Au at a 0.5g/t cut-off grade (from independent NI 43-101 compliant resource estimate completed by AEFS , Sept. 2011). The Reserves at Posse Deposit measure  945,200 ounces of gold Proven and Probable from 17.1MTonnes grading 1.72 g/t Au. The Posse Deposit is in the feasibility study stage, and is located in an area of excellent infrastructure 35 km NE of Yamana’s Chapada open pit Cu-Au operation, 105 km NE of Serra Grande’s underground Au mine, 105 km NNW of Anglo American’s nickel laterite project (in construction), 95 km NW of Votarintim’s Niquelandia nickel laterite mine, and some 60 km NE of Yamana’s Pilar Au project (in feasibility). The Serra da Mesa 450 MW hydro-electric dam lies 35 km to the east. Amarillo Gold Corp.`s mission is to build in-ground gold reserves for future development in Brazil, currently one of the world`s most promising emerging markets.
