Of the more than six million people who are under the control of the criminal justice system, more than four million are on probation and parole – a system that keeps people stuck in an endless cycle of imprisonment and costs state governments millions of dollars. By partnering with state legislators we are bringing about smart, fiscally responsible reform while building safer communities and a stronger
