Founded in 1902 and headquartered near Baltimore, Maryland, the American Urological Association (AUA) is a premier urologic association providing invaluable support to the urologic community, with more than 22,000 members throughout the world. There are a variety of categories for membership, but all members are expected to adhere to the association’s Code of Ethics. Every specialty needs a support system — to allow physicians to network and collaborate and increase educational opportunities — urologists in the United States and around the world recognize the AUA as that system.
