On January 1, 2004 Easter Seals UCP North Carolina was established as a result of a merger between Easter Seals North Carolina and UCP of North Carolina. Easter Seals UCP’s array of services includes child development centers, therapy, community inclusion services, residential living, supported employment, in-home and community-based supports, respite care, disability benefits counseling, information and referral, and advocacy. Easter Seals UCP has accreditations from the Council on Quality and Leadership and CARF, two bodies which promote the creation of opportunities for people to lead the lives they choose and to improve the quality of services and supports for people with disabilities.
