Founded in 1808, Mount St. Mary`s University (MSMU) is the nation`s second oldest Catholic university — offering a rigorous educational experience rooted in the liberal arts with campuses in Emmitsburg and Frederick, Maryland. TRADITIONAL UNDERGRADUATE The Mount`s main campus in Emmitsburg is home to more than 40 academic programs, Division I athletics, and an award-winning student life program. GRADUATE AND ADULT UNDERGRADUATE The Frederick Campus – located within an hour of both Washington, D.C. and Baltimore – offers graduate degree, graduate certificate, and undergraduate degree programs for working adults.
