Since our establishment in 1953 we have been committed to Indiana`s pork farmers and their families. During the first year of our non-profit formation, a few hundred farmers committed themselves to promoting their product. Today there are more than 3,000 farmers in our association. Our promise to Indiana`s pork farmers is simple. We will promote the pork product to consumers. We will be a communication source for vital industry information affecting our members and their businesses. We will be a voice in addressing public perceptions surrounding the pork industry. We will responsibly advance pork business opportunities for Indiana pork farmers.
Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles that seeks to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities and hope. Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. Habitat for Humanity was founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, durable place to live in dignity and safety, and that decent shelter in decent communities should be a matter of conscience and action for all. Habitat for Humanity Susquehanna is an ecumenical Christian housing organization devoted to building and repairing homes in partnership with qualifying families. HHS is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit supported by government, community and private funding.
