St. Anthony Regional Hospital & Nursing Home is proud of its rich history, which dates back to 1905 when Reverend Joseph Kuemper founded the hospital, with the help of the Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration, from LaCrosse, Wisconsin. Today, St. Anthony Regional Hospital, along with its medical staff, serves communities in West Central Iowa. Our first patient stepped through our doors more than 50 years ago. Some of our first associates are still living in the community, or are part of our volunteer program.
