The College fosters relationships between students and faculty through small, personal classes. Our convenient location in the scenic Hudson Valley area, just 17 miles from New York City, feels like a home away from home, in our friendly, yet challenging and supportive atmosphere. Since 1952, Dominican College has provided students with the environment to cultivate unique bonds and life-long relationships. Dominican College is one of a select group of colleges to be named a College of Distinction, based on its excellence in Four Distinctions: engaged students, great teaching, vibrant campus communities and successful outcomes. Dominican College has been honored as a College of Distinction for the last four years For the last three years, Dominican College has also been named Military Friendly for exhibiting best practices in support of military students. The College fully participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program and offers other programs and service to veterans and active military students.
Founded in 1898, Northeastern is a global, experiential, research university built on a tradition of engagement with the world, creating a distinctive approach to education and research. From our humble early beginnings as a community college in 1967, Conestoga has risen to become one of Canada`s premier polytechnic institutes. We offer advanced applied education, and research leading to the commercialization of innovation in southwestern Ontario. For nine of the last ten years independent research has named Conestoga as the number one publicly funded college in Ontario! Our largest campus (Doon) in Kitchener is located right next to highway 401 on 138 acres of land and offers a full range of programming. Conestoga`s newest campus, located in Cambridge directly across the 401 from the Doon (Kitchener) campus, opened in August 2011. This 260,000-square-foot facility is home to Conestoga’s School of Engineering Technology and Trades as well as its Institute of Food Processing Technology. Our Waterloo campus is a centre of excellence for skilled trades and culinary and our Guelph campus has emerged as a provincial leader in motive power trades. We also have smaller campuses in Stratford and Cambridge offering academic upgrading and career focused programs.
Coconino Community College (CCC) was established in Flagstaff, Arizona in 1991 and currently serves all of Coconino County reaching out to communities in Flagstaff, Williams, the Grand Canyon, Page/Lake Powell, Fredonia, Tuba City, the Navajo Nation and surrounding areas. When CCC first opened its doors,nearly 1,000 students enrolled at the Flagstaff campus in the first semester. Since then, the college has experienced an astounding growth rate and today servesnearly 10,000 students per year with four main campuses: the Flagstaff Lone Tree Campus and District Offices; Flagstaff Fourth Street Campus and Technology Center along with the FMC Institute for Nursing Education; Page/Lake Powell Campus and Navajo Generating Station Technology Center; andthe Williams Campus.Classes are also available at CCC. CCC provides affordable tuition and a wide variety of certificates & degrees including career/technical programs. Additionally, CCC offers classes in continuing education, community interest courses and non-credit workshops. Many classes transfer to four-year Universities. Classroom instruction is located on campus, online and through interactive TV (ITV).
Illinois Central College (ICC) is a community college located in the greater Peoria area. The college opened its doors 1967 to more than 2,000 students. Today the college annually serves more than 19,000 students and offers more than 3,000 classes per semester. As an open access college, ICC welcomes any student who is willing to learn.
