Nearly 30 years ago, the Hagerty family couldn’t find coverage for their treasured wooden boats, so they created their own and started Hagerty Insurance out of the family basement in Traverse City, MI. Since then, Hagerty has grown to be the global leader in classic car and boat insurance. But we’re still just a family business built on love for cars and boats.
