The culmination of our protein evolution technologies is our Conditionally Active Biologics (CAB)platform. Monoclonal antibodies or enzymes can be engineered for selective conditional activation, i.e. the protein`s functions are designed to modulate with changes in microphysical conditions (e.g., pH level, oxidation, temperature, pressure concentration, presence of certain ions, hydrophobicity and competing protein binding). Tumors and other kinds of diseased tissue give rise to unique localized conditions distinct from normal tissue. CAB designed monoclonal antibodies can be programmed to deliver an ADC payload and/or recruit the immune response to specific sites and conditions in the body.
