About the Company

North Dakota is a midwestern U.S. state dominated by the Great Plains. Its eastern city of Fargo showcases Native American and modern art at the Plains Art Museum. The area`s immigrant history is honored at the Scandinavian Heritage Association in the city of Minot. About the Person

Bonnie Storbakken will be taking over as general counsel in Dalrymple’s office. Bonnie has done an outstanding job leading the Department of Labor and Human Rights, and her legal talents will now be applied to a larger range of issues important to North Dakota. Storbakken has owned and operated Storbakken Law & Mediation since 2007. She has specialized in several areas of law and has provided professional mediation services to help parties resolve conflicts outside the court process. A former staff attorney at the State Bar Association of North Dakota, Storbakken was active in the association’s work to enhance the state’s availability of free and reduced legal services for low-income residents. Storbakken is a graduate of the University of North Dakota School of Law and lives in Bismarck with her husband, David Straley, and their three children.
