About the Person
Brian Cadwallader joined Johnson Controls in 2010, and currently serves as assistant general counsel leading more than 100 attorneys and support staff located in 16 offices worldwide. He was also named vice president and assistant secretary in January 2014. Prior to becoming assistant general counsel, Cadwallader was group vice president and general counsel of the company's Building Efficiency business. Cadwallader previously served in leadership roles with International Paper Company including associate general counsel where he led the legal functions for the company's international businesses and shared corporate legal services. He has a bachelor's degree from Western Michigan University and a Juris Doctor from St. Louis University. Cadwallader serves on the Board of Trustees of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee.
