People always ask, what does strategic communications mean? For us, it means finding interesting, smart, and inventive ways to get information to the right people. It means streamlining programs that are cumbersome, messy, and confusing and making them easy to use. It means identifying dated layout and design and creating content that is stunning and engaging. Based in Natick, MA, Strategic Communications, Inc. (StratComm) has served the marketing, communications, training, and project management needs of nationwide Fortune 500 companies, many federal agencies, and all branches of the Armed Forces for over 45 years. Our team works with a variety of clients and delivers an array of services. We create high-quality publications, both print and electronic, and training platforms for leading corporations and organizations such as IBM, VMware, the United States Navy and Air Force, the U.S. Department of State, Veterans Affairs, the U.S. Treasury, and many other important agencies and organizations. We also manage large programs for the federal government utilizing emerging technologies. Two examples are online training and testing programs for U.S. Embassies worldwide and program management for the Social Security Administration. Many high profile clients contract with StratComm to update the design and content of their websites, brochures, annual reports, and web apps. Our team is constantly seeking newer technologies and developing efficiencies to better serve our clients. Within our headquarters, we house a core team of dedicated professionals who administer our programs. ShareWaves Overview: We continue to build a youth sports foundation that provides positive, game-changing solutions for children in under-resourced communities. We are helping kids play the games they love. Who We Are: ShareWaves is a 501c3 public charity working to deliver high-quality sports experiences to kids in under-resourced communities. Launched almost 3 years ago, ShareWaves is targeting children from any home that experiences multi-layered barriers to sports access and are less likely to receive the support they need. Our Why? The gap between "the haves" and the "have nots" is getting wider. Without access to sports and structured play, kids miss critical benefits, including physical health, social-emotional growth, and academic development. Emergent Issue!!! COVID restrictions further limited access to organized sports and extracurricular activities causing kids to lose an entire year of life-skill development, social interactions, and academic interruptions. ShareWaves is targeting several ways to help kids recover by delivering tangible impact to children suffering and delivering programs of significance to kids in need. 5 Key Initiatives: 1. Provide micro-funding grants to assist in connecting kids to high-quality sports experiences. 2. Build #Ready2Play Training Experiences for Kids and the #Ready2Play app. 3. Create digital content that showcases the "power of sports" to transform young lives. 4. Lead the formation of a KC Youth Sports Alliance (KC-YSA) 5. Host high-energy, one-of-a-kind events that raise awareness and support our mission. Children in our city need us now more than ever as they experience an avalanche of pressure this fall returning from extended periods of social isolation, educational uncertainty, and inactivity caused by COVID. We work to develop strong impact partnerships with like-minded individuals and organizations that want help kids heal.

It is the mission of Veterans Legal Services to help Massachusetts veterans overcome adversity by providing free civil legal aid that honors their service, promotes well-being, and responds to their distinctive needs. Veterans Legal Services (VLS) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and is the leader in providing free legal advice and representation to homeless and low-income veterans in the Greater Boston area and serves over 500 veterans cases per year at its legal clinics. By locating legal clinics at homeless shelters and service centers, VLS reaches members of our society who are often reluctant to seek legal help and is able to partner with shelter staff to provide holistic support. During its legal clinics, VLS staff attorneys supervise volunteer law students who perform client intakes. After determining eligibility and performing due diligence, VLS offers the veteran either on-the-spot advice, brief service such as helping with pleadings, or full legal representation, up to and including representing the veteran in court or in front of state/federal agencies. VLS is the only legal aid organization in Massachusetts whose mission is to serve veterans. VLS prioritizes veterans where legal representation may yield a life-changing result that restores a veterans self-sufficiency and dignity. We prioritize cases for the disabled, victims of domestic violence, and cases where there is a significant disparity in resources or the opposing party has representation. Veterans Legal Services serves over 500 veterans cases per year at its legal clinics. Previously known as Shelter Legal Services, in late 2013 we began doing business as Veterans Legal Services to better reflect our mission of serving those who serve our country.
