AquaMost

AquaMost, Inc., a privately held company, was founded in 2006 by UW research scientists to improve and commercialize technology invented at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. AquaMost’s continued success has led to positive feedback from the market and the development of the SX Reactor platform. Additional funding rounds and a $1M NIH SBIR Phase II grant have given the company the capital that is required to commercialize and manufacture its patented products. AquaMost has focused on the Oil & Gas industry because of the increased demand for water reuse and chemical-free treatment associated with hydraulic fracturing and enhanced oil recovery processes. Other markets of interest include ground water remediation, drinking water treatment, agricultural applications and industrial wastewater reuse.
