The Institute for Study Abroad, Butler University (IFSA-Butler) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1988. Our primary goal is to provide quality study abroad opportunities, plus academic and personal support services, for qualified North American undergraduates seeking to earn academic credit through study abroad. While the Institute for Study Abroad has an affiliation with Butler University for transcripts and other purposes, it is a separate organization. IFSA-Butler is organized to assist our students from the time they apply until after they return. Our staff in the U.S. prepare students for the academic and cultural changes that await them, and our offices around the world provide on-site support to help students make the most of their study abroad experiences. IFSA-Butler currently operates programs in Argentina, Australia, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Egypt, England, India, Israel, Mexico, New Zealand, Northern Ireland, Peru, the Republic of Ireland, Scotland, Sharjah UAE, Spain and Wales. Institute for Study Abroad is registered in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
For nearly seven decades, El Camino College has been proud to serve our community`s educational and cultural needs through outstanding course offerings, diverse entertainment venues, and exceptional athletic and fitness opportunities. Located in the heart of the South Bay, the El Camino Community College District encompasses seven unified and high school districts, 12 elementary school districts and nine cities with a combined population of 533,000 residents. So now, as we enter our 69th year, the campus itself is taking on a “fresh” new look, with safety and technology upgrades continuing throughout the campus. With a mission to "Educate Every Child," Dare County`s 11 public schools serve a growing student population approaching 5000. Since 2003, the district has increase facilities by 44% through new construction and by additions/major renovations - four new schools have been added to the system. DCS has a thriving professional climate in which the numbers of Nationally Board Certified teachers (currently 62) is steadily increasing and approximately 1/3 of our teachers have earned advanced degrees. Each Dare County school has received accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools.
The University of North Georgia is the sixth-largest university in the University System of Georgia and has an enrollment of more than 18,000 students. UNG has campuses in Blue Ridge, Cumming, Gainesville, Oconee County, and Dahlonega. One of only six senior military colleges in the nation, UNG is also designated as a State Leadership Institution and as the Military College of Georgia. There are nearly 800 students in UNG`s Corps of Cadets.
