Furthermore, it is now appreciated that inadequate or aberrant autophagy contributes to a wide range of diseases. We are focused on boosting autophagy – pioneering novel therapeutic strategies to address unmet medical needs. We are creating a new target set for drug discovery and development, and advancing innovative paradigms to treat a broad set of illnesses that are either neglected or inadequately addressed today.
