Our first patient stepped through our doors more than 50 years ago. Some of our first associates are still living in the community, or are part of our volunteer program. They have fond memories of those first days, but are even more inspired — and even awed — by the changes that have occurred over the past five decades. Why? We wouldn’t be here without our community. In fact, our community created us. Fifty years ago, a small group of Carroll County citizens gathered and began fundraising for a hospital.
