About the Company

Experience a unique way to share life with friends. Snap a photo or a video, add a caption, and send it to a friend (or maybe a few). They`ll view it, laugh, and then the snap disappears from the screen - unless your friend takes a screenshot! The image might be a little grainy, and you may not look your best, but that`s the point. It`s about the moment, a connection between friends, and not just a pretty picture. The allure of fleeting messages reminds us about the beauty of friendship - we don`t need a reason to stay in touch.

About the Person

Christopher Handman is a former General Counsel of Snapchat. Previously, is a partner with Hogan Lovells in the firm’s Washington, D.C., office. He began his career at what was then Hogan & Hartson, where he worked alongside now-Chief Justice John Roberts when he headed the firm’s appellate practice. Handman has made more than 35 oral arguments in three-quarters of the federal circuit courts and many state appellate courts. His most recent appeals have involved successfully challenging a portion of Maryland’s tax code on dormant Commerce Clause grounds and overturning separate U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Department of Transportation decisions in the D.C. Circuit.
