It is the County seat of Canyon County and the home of the Canyon County Fair. You will find a rich history of agriculture, as Caldwell is the home of the J.R. Simplot Company. Be sure to visit the campus of The College of Idaho. The college boasts nationally renowned athletic teams in all arenas as well as recent national championships in basketball, baseball and skiing.
