The City of Farmington, NM is located in San Juan County in the New Mexico portion of the nation`s "Four Corners" region. The City of Farmington Organization The City of Farmington has a Council-Manager form of government consisting of a Mayor and four City Council Members from single member districts. The City Manager who is appointed by the City Council performs the duties of Chief Administrative Officer of the City, as defined by state statutes and municipal code. The City Manager serves as policy advisor to the Major and Council and provides leadership, coordination, and management for the affairs of the City to ensure effective community services. The City has 1,023 full time and seasonal employees, a general fund budget of approximately $56.2 million, and a total budget of over $253 million.
Burlingame is a city of the 3rd class. We are a full service city offering police protection, building inspections and utilities including water, sewer, natural gas, electricity and trash pick-up. Burlingame is conveniently located between Topeka and Emporia on US 56 highway about 10 miles north of Osage City. As you enter Santa Fe Avenue, known as main street to the townspeople now, you will notice the extra wide street. The 130 foot street allows for cars to park on the sides and in the middle. The streets were made this wide to accommodate the Santa Fe Trail which went down the main street, allowing the large oxen teams pulling covered wagons to make a "U -Turn". Santa Fe Avenue was laid with the red bricks in the 1920`s, and is still covered with bricks to this day. Every Friday and Saturday night you can see the local high school students cruising the main street.

Since 1949, Cerebral Palsy of Westchester has been the leading non-profit organization in Westchester and Fairfield County, providing essential educational services, direct services, vocational training, recreation, rehabilitation and advocacy to children and adults with cerebral palsy and other disabilities. Cerebral Palsy of Westchester was founded by a dedicated network of volunteers, helping disabled children access medical treatments and services that were just becoming available in area hospitals. One volunteer, Martie Osterer, recognized the need for a strong organization with structure and financial stability, which would support the efforts of its volunteers. She enlisted her husband David, a Westchester businessman, and together David and Martie Osterer formed more than an organization...they developed a partnership of caring community volunteers and professionals committed to making the necessary services and programs available to everyone in need.
