The City of Miami Beach was incorporated on March 26, 1915. Miami Beach operates on a commission/city manager form of government. The commission consists of a mayor and six commissioners who serve as the policy-making body of the city. The city manager ensures that policies, directives, resolutions and ordinances adopted by the city commission are enforced and implemented. The city manager is also charged with the daily operations of the city. The City of Carson is in Los Angeles County, California. There are about 100,000 residents in 19 square miles. The city is also home to many major corporations and California State University, Dominguez Hills. Carson has a five member council and operates under the council-manager form of government. The population is very diverse ethnically and enjoys a high standard of living with one of the best parks and recreation systems in the region. The city motto, appropriately enough, is "Future Unlimited."
Wayne County is a county in the U.S. state of Ohio. As of the 2010 census, the population was 114,520. Its county seat is Wooster. The county is named for General "Mad" Anthony Wayne.
