Student success is the focus and measure of everything we do. CWU educates students from all corners of the state. Our name is regional, but our students are not. Students choose CWU to avoid the anonymity of big schools. Our students live and learn on a close-knit campus in an historic college town. Classes are small enough that professors know students by name and engage them directly in research as undergraduates. Students choose CWU for programs that are among the best in the nation—geology, education, business, aviation, music, and accounting. They also choose CWU for programs that simply don`t exist anywhere else in the region—wine business, sports marketing, and paramedicine. Wildcats are everywhere. CWU reaches out to students across Washington state at campuses co-located with community colleges. Our dual admission program places students on track to complete a bachelor`s degree as soon as they are admitted into a Washington community college. CWU`s online virtual campus provides students of all ages and from all walks of life a chance to learn online.
Founded in 1834, Franklin College is a residential, liberal arts institution with a scenic, wooded campus, spanning 207 acres, including athletic fields and a 31-acre biology woodland. Students enjoy the comfort and safety of suburban living, while also experiencing the many opportunities Indianapolis has to offer with a short 20-minute drive to downtown. The college prepares students to think independently, to lead responsibly and to serve with integrity in their professions, their communities and the world. The college offers its more than 1,000 students Bachelor of Arts degrees in 51 majors from 25 academic disciplines, 42 minors, 11 pre-professional programs and five cooperative programs. In 1842, the college began admitting women, becoming the first coeducational institution in Indiana and the seventh in the nation. Franklin College maintains a voluntary association with the American Baptist Churches USA.
Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College serves over 4,200 students from 30 countries, 18 states, and 155 of Georgia`s 159 counties at instructional sites in Tifton, Moultrie, Bainbridge, Blakely, and Donalsonville. ABAC students can select from 13 bachelor`s degrees ranging from Agriculture to Biology or a variety of associate degrees including a two-year degree in nursing leading to a career as a Registered Nurse. Over 1,300 students choose to live on campus in premier housing accommodations. ABAC offers degrees in Agribusiness, Agriculture, Agricultural Communication, Agricultural Education, Biology, Environmental Horticulture, History and Government, Natural Resource Management, Nursing, Rural Community Development, and Writing and Communication. Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College is a State College in the University System of Georgia.
The Los Rios Community College District is one of the nation`s most respected learning institutions and the second-largest community college district in California. We are a two-year public college district that serves the greater Sacramento region. Los Rios includes: American River, Cosumnes River, Folsom Lake and Sacramento City colleges; major education and outreach centers in Davis, Elk Grove, Natomas, Placerville, Rancho Cordova and West Sacramento; and specialized workforce and economic development programs for business, government and organizations throughout the region. Our colleges offer AA/AS degrees, certificates and transfer education opportunities - students complete freshman and sophomore years and transfer to a four-year college or university - in more than 70 career fields. The District`s 2,400 square mile service area includes all of Sacramento County, most of El Dorado County and parts of Yolo, Placer and Solano counties.
