Villanova University was founded in 1842 by the Order of St. Augustine. Since its founding in 1875, Indiana University of Pennsylvania has progressed and evolved to match the changing needs of those it serves. Not only does IUP offer an abundance of undergraduate and masters programs, but it is the only university in the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education to offer Doctor of Philosophy degrees. Degrees are offered from the broader, more traditional (philosophy, anthropology) to the career specific (safety sciences, respiratory therapy).
The South Dakota Board of Regents is a governing board that controls six public universities in the U.S. state of South Dakota. These include Black Hills State University, Dakota State University, Northern State University, South Dakota School of Mines and Technology, South Dakota State University, and the University of South Dakota.
