About the Company
We are a global company that acquires, leases and sells commercial jet aircraft to airlines throughout the world. High-utility aircraft are generally modern, operationally efficient jets with a large operator base and long useful lives. As of March 31, 2014, Aircastle`s aircraft portfolio consisted of 164 aircraft on lease with 65 customers located in 37 countries. From time to time, we also make investments in other aviation assets, including debt securities secured by commercial jet aircraft. Our business is managed by a team of aviation professionals with extensive industry experience. Through servicing offices in the US, Ireland and Singapore, we provide our airline customers with an exceptional level of service and our investors with global coverage and local market knowledge. Our professionals have extensive experience with aircraft finance, leasing and investment management.
About the Person
David Walton, also known as Dave, Esq. has been the Chief Operating Officer, Secretary and General Counsel at Aircastle Ltd., since January 2006, August 2006 and March 2005 respectively. Prior to joining Aircastle, Mr. Walton served as the Chief Legal Officer of Boullioun Aviation Services, Inc. from 1996 to 2005. Prior to that, he was a partner at the law firm of Perkins Coie in Seattle and Hong Kong. He has over 20 years of experience in aircraft leasing and finance. He received a BA in Political Science from Stanford University and a JD from Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California, Berkeley.
