Simmons Sharpe was founded in 2015, by Bill Sharpe, the former chairman of Havas Canada, and Heather Simmons, the former CMO of Dell Canada. At Dell, Heather was Bills client for 9 years. Remarkably, they still like each other. They lead the company from hipsterville, better known as Queen East, in Toronto. Most of the actual work however, is done in Halifax, where Mitchell Hunter runs the show. The Simmons Sharpe difference is our focus on end-to-end demand generation and measurement. And by end-to-end, we mean including customer care and sales in marketing initiatives, and automating and measuring from impression to signed contract. Because marketing matters most when it impacts bottom-line sales and builds long-term relationships with customers.

Latcha + Associates is an all-inclusive marketing and production company that specializes in the customer lifecycle. There are 220 of us who make up our well-oiled machine. We are innovators, risk takers, problem solvers, storytellers, creators, strategists and analysts – all strong in our convictions, and dedicated to helping our clients do things others simply discuss. From brand identity, print and video, to typesetting, retouching, photography, computer-generated imaging, app development software programming, database managing and development of emerging technologies, we do it all – and all in house. Our mission has always been to be the partner that our clients depend on, and we do that by executing flawlessly. How? Because our teams are not held back by a big-name corporation and its stifling politics. We have no stockholders or committee-think. Just a master maker who believes in that mission – and in creating communications that stir the imaginations of consumers.
We began in 1876 in Chicago as the N.M. Johnson Company, “Blank Book Manufacturers and Book Binders.” About the same time as General George Custer and his troops were defeated in the Battle of Little Bighorn in the Montana Territory, our first advertisement appeared in the 1876-77 Chicago Business Directory. When Thomas Stephen Quin joined the company in 1896, the business was renamed Johnson & Quin. Throughout the years, Johnson & Quin has prospered by deploying the latest technologies and adapting to the changing marketplace. The company led the introduction of laser printing to the Midwest in 1979, which soon transformed Johnson & Quin into a full-service direct mail production company. We offer the latest in direct mail production, integrated marketing solutions, data services and personalization technologies, cutting-edge printing with both laser and ink jet printers, and certified data security practices. The innovation, flexibility, and solid financial credentials that propelled us throughout our 139-year history remains at the core of the way we work today.
