ShareWaves Overview: We continue to build a youth sports foundation that provides positive, game-changing solutions for children in under-resourced communities. We are helping kids play the games they love. Who We Are: ShareWaves is a 501c3 public charity working to deliver high-quality sports experiences to kids in under-resourced communities. Launched almost 3 years ago, ShareWaves is targeting children from any home that experiences multi-layered barriers to sports access and are less likely to receive the support they need. Our Why? The gap between "the haves" and the "have nots" is getting wider. Without access to sports and structured play, kids miss critical benefits, including physical health, social-emotional growth, and academic development. Emergent Issue!!! COVID restrictions further limited access to organized sports and extracurricular activities causing kids to lose an entire year of life-skill development, social interactions, and academic interruptions. ShareWaves is targeting several ways to help kids recover by delivering tangible impact to children suffering and delivering programs of significance to kids in need. 5 Key Initiatives: 1. Provide micro-funding grants to assist in connecting kids to high-quality sports experiences. 2. Build #Ready2Play Training Experiences for Kids and the #Ready2Play app. 3. Create digital content that showcases the "power of sports" to transform young lives. 4. Lead the formation of a KC Youth Sports Alliance (KC-YSA) 5. Host high-energy, one-of-a-kind events that raise awareness and support our mission. Children in our city need us now more than ever as they experience an avalanche of pressure this fall returning from extended periods of social isolation, educational uncertainty, and inactivity caused by COVID. We work to develop strong impact partnerships with like-minded individuals and organizations that want help kids heal.

DESTINATION DEVELOPMENT Understanding what exists in your destination is important. Knowledge of your cannabis and hemp-related assets directly informs the strategy and program architecture. I engage and educate stakeholders, assess the destination, and develop a bespoke cannabis travel strategy and program that fosters long term success. The strategy may or may not include B2C product development i.e. trail, passport, newsletter. DESTINATION MARKETING The data shows that the cannabis-motivated active leisure travel audience is a high value audience that stays longer and spends more while in a destination. Through a dedicated cannabis travel program, I work with stakeholders to facilitate a steady flow of cannabis and hemp-related content that elevates the cannabis experience story in a sophisticated and brand aligned way. I advise DMOs on B2B and B2C content and marketing strategies. HOTEL SOLUTIONS Hotels are the heart of the travel ecosystem of a destination. Hotels greatly influence the overall experience for visitors. With a focus on guest experience, room nights, and turn-key incremental revenue opportunities, I help hotels understand, prepare for, and serve the cannabis and hemp CBD-interested hotel guest. Solutions include hospitality education, frontline staff support, and revenue generating opportunities in lobby, spa, and in-room.
