We are in Driggs, Idaho; on the west side of the Tetons, across Teton Pass from Jackson Hole right on Highway 33. Highway 33 is part of the Yellowstone-Teton Scenic Loop; one of the 10 most scenic drives in the West, according to National Geographic. The Distillery sits at the foothills to the Tetons, which get 500-800 inches of snow per year. The snow-melt provides an abundance of pristine mountain water used in proofing our spirits. Surrounded by acres of famous Idaho potatoes, we use the artisan craft method to distill a soft and smooth, clean tasting, yet full-bodied super premium vodka, now ranked the #1 potato vodka in the world. Our award winning potato vodka is distilled the equivalent of 20 times in small batches with every step carefully monitored. It is then freeze filtered 6 times through charcoal and garnet crystal to give you the cleanest, softest spirit possible. Enjoy it "neat" or make your favorite cocktail. King Estate, celebrating 24 years of Oregon winemaking in 2014, is located southwest of Eugene, Oregon, at the southern tip of the Willamette Valley. Founded in 1991 by the King family, King Estate is committed to producing wines of exceptional quality using organic & sustainable farming methods, meticulous fruit selection, and impeccable winemaking practices. King Estate focuses on producing world-class Pinot Gris and Pinot Noirs. To this day, King Estate is owned and operated by the King Family.
The Chicago contingent initiated the brewing and the gravitational effect of its suchness did the rest. We all loved the beer but the mission was larger than the ordinary joy of a hoppy-sweet quaff. It was driven unseen by an urge to communicate with people, to find our diasporidic tribe, and to connect with other souls adrift on a culture that had lost its center and spun its inhabitants to the four winds to wander lost and bereft with a longing to re-enter the light. Beer, we have learned, has always been a good lubricant for social intercourse! The Lagunitas Brewing Co. was not so much an act of ordinary ‘foundling’ as it was willed into being by the unspoken desire of supportive beer-lovers in Northern California after which they continued to nurture their creativity and urged us forward to fulfill the unifying needs of that same beer-loving diaspora from coast to coast and beyond.
