ExcitePCR is developing the FireflyDXTM family of pathogen detection systems, portable devices offering rapid sample-to-result detection in less than 30 minutes using real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) chemistry. FireflyDX devices will be capable of multiplex assays and utilize single-use, disposable cartridges for lab-quality results at the Point-of-Need and Point-of-Care (PON / POC).
