The University of Chicago Medicine has been at the forefront of medicine since 1927, when we cared for our first patients. Our mission is to provide superior health care in a compassionate manner, ever mindful of each patient`s dignity and individuality. To accomplish our mission, we call upon the skills and expertise of all who work together to advance medical innovation, serve the health needs of the community, and further the knowledge of those dedicated to caring. As one of the nation`s leading academic medical institutions, UChicago Medicine comprises the Medical Center, Pritzker School of Medicine and the Biological Sciences Division. Its main Hyde Park campus is home to the Center for Care and Discovery, Bernard Mitchell Hospital, Comer Children`s Hospital and the Duchossois Center for Advanced Medicine. It also has a 108,000-square-foot facility in Orland Park as well as an outpatient clinic in Chicago`s South Loop, as well as affiliations and partnerships that create a regional network of doctors in dozens of Chicago-area communities. UChicago Medicine offers a full range of specialty-care services for adults and children through more than 40 institutes and centers including an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center. It has 805 licensed beds, nearly 850 attending physicians, about 2,500 nurses and over 1,100 residents and fellows. Harvey-based Ingalls Health joined UChicago Medicine`s network in 2016.

Hutchinson Regional Medical Center is a not-for-profit, 200-licensed bed medical facility serving the health needs of more than 65,000 residents of Hutchinson, Reno County and the surrounding Central Kansas region. Our pioneering spirit has made us leaders in the health care field. The talent employed at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center is stronger than that often found in larger metropolitan hospitals. Clinical research trials are prevalent and our physician competency is well known. We’ve received worldwide attention for medical and technological engineering advancements. Participating in patient care are our partners and specialty services, including The Heart & Vascular Center, Chalmers Cancer Treatment Center, The Birthing Center, and Ray E. Dillon Living Center, an adult care facility offering intermediate care, skilled nursing and assisted living. Each of these facilities is located on our 83-acre campus. Our broad network of health care services extends deep into the community with Health-E-Quip, a home medical equipment supply store; Horizons Mental Health Center, a mental health services provider for surrounding counties; Hospice & HomeCare of Reno County, a medical and emotional support system for patients and their families in the final phase of a terminal illness or those needing home health care services for acute and chronic illness needs; and Sleep Diagnostic Center, a monitored sleep lab that identifies sleep disorders. Together, we will do everything possible to deliver an exceptional experience of care to every patient and family member who walks through our doors. Our desire is to be your first and best choice for health care.
The Mission of Catholic Health Initiatives is to nurture the healing ministry of the Church, supported by education and research. Fidelity to the Gospel urges us to emphasize human dignity and social justice as we create healthier communities.
