He reorganized operations and changed the name from Pepsi Cola of Southern Mississippi to Brown Bottling Group to better position the company for growth. Bill continued the company`s expansion by establishing a corporate office now located on Highland Colony Parkway in Ridgeland, MS. Management, marketing, accounting and human resources were relocated away from the sales and warehouse divisions. Growth continued in 1989 when Brown Bottling purchased the franchise rights for McComb and Natchez adding 16 more counties to the service area. Taking care of the beverage needs of Mississippi largest customer base is a big job. It takes the combined efforts of all 350+ employees working together to make Brown Bottling Group Mississippi`s preferred refreshment provider.
