With a global network of over 150 countries, an experienced team of underwriters and claims handling, and an office located in the heart of New York City, it was just as clear that the GUSB office provided a perfect opportunity for Generali to enter into the US Multinational Insurance market. Plans for the Generali US Branch Global Corporate & Commercial (GC&C) initiative were approved by EOY 2014, and by Q1 2015 the GC&C team was assembled with some of the best underwriters in the industry and an impressive portfolio was already in the works.
