Back in 2003, Jared Hamilton built a private website so his class could better collaborate and share best practices outside the classroom. The website, DrivingSales.com, was designed to function like a free online 20 group for dealership professionals. Over the last six years, the site has evolved. In June 2008, DrivingSales.com opened its doors to the entire automotive community. Dealers who learned of it shared it with their managers, who shared it with their peers, and word spread. The community has grown from a small Academy class to the largest source of unbiased, vendor-neutral information in the industry. In the past 18 months, DrivingSales has evolved into a full media company offering an exclusive event (DrivingSales Executive Summit), structured learning for Dealers (DrivingSales University) a data aggregation tool (DrivingSales Data), a quarterly publication (Dealership Innovation Guide), a Web TV channel (DrivingSales TV) and a number of other ways to serve tens of thousands of industry professionals with dealership-focused, proven best practices. DrivingSales is proud to deliver the utmost in business data and intelligence to Dealers across North America.

The Writers Guild of America, West (WGAW), is a labor union composed of the thousands of writers who write the television shows, movies, news programs, documentaries, animation, videogames, web series and content for new media technologies that keep audiences constantly entertained and informed. Our primary duty is to represent our members in negotiations with film and television producers to ensure the rights of screen, television, and new-media writers. Once a contract is in place, we enforce it. Because of the WGAW`s long-term efforts, writers receive pension and health coverage,, and their financial and creative rights are protected. We are responsible for determining writing credits for feature films and television programs-a responsibility with far-reaching impact, financial and artistic. Writers` livelihoods often depend on the careful and objective determination of credits. RESIDUALS The WGAW monitors, collects, and distributes millions of dollars in residuals (payments for the reuse of movies and television programs) for writers each year. Throughout the year, the Writers Guild sponsors seminars, panel discussions, and special events for its members as well as the public at large. The WGAW furthers the interests of writers through legislation, international agreements, and public relations efforts. We are affiliated with the Writers Guild of America East and other organizations around the world.
