United Way of Benton and Franklin Counties is a local not-for-profit organization that is improving lives in our community. This is done through Community Solutions which focuses our work on four areas of need: education, health, safety, and self-sufficiency. A key component of this is United Way of Benton and Franklin Counties’ facilitation of two community initiatives called Our Babies Can’t Wait and Prepared by 20. Who runs the United Way of Benton and Franklin Counties? A volunteer Board of Directors comprised of more than 50 local community leaders governs the United Way of Benton and Franklin Counties. Board members represent the diversity and interests of our community. A highly qualified staff is employed by United Way to manage the organization, raise funds, and provide services in our community, including bringing the community together to identify community priorities, developing solutions to pressing needs, and coordinating efforts to deliver services efficiently.

Youth Villages is a national leader in children`s mental and behavioral health, bringing help and hope to tens of thousands of children, families and young people across the United States every year. Founded in 1986, the organization`s 3,000-plus employees help more than 30,000 children annually in 21 states across the U.S. For more than 30 years, we have worked to find solutions using proven treatment models that strengthen the child`s family and support systems and dramatically improve their long-term success. Since 1994, our organization has tracked every child who completes a program and has recorded consistently high success rates. In 2018, 86% of the children are still living successfully at home with their families 12 months after completing their program. Founded in 1899, the Western Golf Association conducts championships for professional and amateur golfers, promotes the use of caddies, and oversees the Evans Scholars Foundation, which awards college scholarships to caddies with limited financial means. The WGA conducts two amateur championships, the Western Junior and the Western Amateur, and runs the BMW Championship, the third of four PGA TOUR Playoff events. Headquartered in Golf, Illinois, the organization also supports the nationally acclaimed Chick Evans Caddie Scholarship Program. The WGA champions education through golf in sponsoring the Evans Scholars Program. Established by the WGA and famed amateur golfer Charles “Chick” Evans, Jr., it provides full housing and tuition scholarships to deserving caddies across the country. Currently, 935 caddies are attending college on scholarship; there are more than 10,000 Evans Scholars Alumni across the country.
