Berkeley Microfinance is a UC Berkeley student-run group with a mission to promote entrepreneurialism in the Bay Area by offering our clients access to financial resources and microloans through Kiva. We also seek to serve as a platform for UC Berkeley students to expand their learning about microfinance while developing close ties to the local community as we channel the time, enthusiasm, and energy of students into empowering local entrepreneurs.
