GoldieBlox is a toy company out to inspire the next generation of female engineers. Founded 2012 by Debra Sterling, GoldieBlox makes construction toys for girls built from the female perspective. Our mission is to close the gender gap in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math. Engineers are solving some of the biggest challenges our society faces. They are critical to the world economy, earn higher salaries and have greater job security. And they are 86% male. Engineers can`t responsibly build our world`s future without the female perspective. GoldieBlox is here to bring the female voice into engineering.
