Since then, the company has begun to focus its ambitions on developing, manufacturing and selling the finest range of shuttle buses from its subsidiary Newport Coachworks in Riverside, California, initially for the North American market, but ultimately for export too. As its expertise in the design and development of proprietary electric vehicle drive train solutions has continued to grow, it’s natural that these advances would find their way into its shuttle bus production. Recently launched by GAC’s Californian business, the E-Patriot, and (soon to be launched) the E-Atlas, epitomize this progress, and underline GAC’s commitment to All American clean transport solutions.
In addition GAC has the capability to create conversion programs for internal combustion engine vehicles turning them into either pure electric, or hybrid electric vehicles.
