About the Person

Harvey Anderson is the Chief Legal Officer at AVG. In his role he leads all global legal matters including compliance and ethics; as well as being responsible for accelerating partner and business transactions, IP and partnership innovation.  Anderson also leads AVG privacy initiatives world-wide.   He works out of AVG Technologies' San Francisco office. Anderson has more than 20 years of experience counseling leading technology companies in complex transactions, including privacy, equity financing, corporate governance, M&A and IP matters.  Over the course of his esteemed career, Anderson held positions of increasing responsibility at companies such as Seven Networks, Flywheel Communications, Medscape and Netscape. Anderson joins AVG from Mozilla where he was SVP Business and Legal Affairs responsible for the Legal, Business Development, Public Policy, Marketplace and content product teams. Anderson's key accomplishments include the development of deep partnerships with mobile operators, search providers and device manufacturers, as well as the advancement of innovative web privacy 'Do Not Track' initiatives.
