Hewitt supplies equipment and services to many industries such as construction, mining, forestry, agricultural, transportation, warehousing, paving ... Hewitt also owns four subsidiaries: Atlantic Tractors & Equipment Ltd., Hewitt Material Handling Inc., Hewitt Rentals Inc. and Montréal Hydraulique 04 Inc. In total, Hewitt Equipment, its divisions and subsidiaries employ more than 1,850 people in Quebec, Ontario, Western Labrador and the Atlantic provinces. Hewitt has played a significant role in Quebec's economic development by participating in major construction projects including the St. Lawrence Seaway, all hydroelectric developments in Quebec, and various road construction projects across Quebec and Western Labrador.
