The City of Springfield has roughly 400 employees providing a variety of services to the community of Springfield, Oregon. City departments include the City Managers Office, Development & Public Works, Finance, Fire and Life Safety, Human Resources, Information Technology, Library and Museum, and Police. We are a home rule charter City and we have a Council-Manager form of government. Our City Manager supervises the operations of all City departments.
