The Ontario College of Trades (College) is an industry-led organization that protects the public interest by regulating and promoting the skilled trades. As a first of its kind in North America, the College puts decision-making back in the hands of skilled tradespeople. The College promotes the skilled trades as a viable career choice for young people, and works with industry professionals to find solutions to matters that affect the skilled trades industry.
The University of Toledo is one of 14 state universities in Ohio. We were established in 1872 and became a member of the state university system in 1967. The University of Toledo and the Medical University of Ohio merged July 2006 to form the third-largest public university operating budget in the state. The University is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
The University of Montana Foundation’s mission is to increase philanthropic support to ensure the University of Montana’s excellence, access and affordability, focusing fundraising activity on the priorities set by the University and building and maintaining relationships with alumni and friends who donate to UM. We also manage an endowment. Earnings from the endowment provide ongoing support for the University. The Foundation is an independent non-profit organization with a Board of Trustees. The Trustees and staff work with University leaders to set fundraising priorities which support the University’s strategic plan. In fiscal year 2015, private support for the University of Montana totaled $52.6 million. Of that, $46 million came from gifts through the UM Foundation. An additional $6.6 million came through private grants to UM.
