The Alabama Policy Institute (API) is a 501(c)(3) non-partisan, non-profit research and education organization dedicated to the preservation of free markets, limited government and strong families, which are indispensable to a prosperous society. These are the same ideas on which two of the greatest documents ever conceived by the mind of man are based-the Declaration of Independence and the United States Constitution.
