ShareWaves Overview: We continue to build a youth sports foundation that provides positive, game-changing solutions for children in under-resourced communities. We are helping kids play the games they love. Who We Are: ShareWaves is a 501c3 public charity working to deliver high-quality sports experiences to kids in under-resourced communities. Launched almost 3 years ago, ShareWaves is targeting children from any home that experiences multi-layered barriers to sports access and are less likely to receive the support they need. Our Why? The gap between "the haves" and the "have nots" is getting wider. Without access to sports and structured play, kids miss critical benefits, including physical health, social-emotional growth, and academic development. Emergent Issue!!! COVID restrictions further limited access to organized sports and extracurricular activities causing kids to lose an entire year of life-skill development, social interactions, and academic interruptions. ShareWaves is targeting several ways to help kids recover by delivering tangible impact to children suffering and delivering programs of significance to kids in need. 5 Key Initiatives: 1. Provide micro-funding grants to assist in connecting kids to high-quality sports experiences. 2. Build #Ready2Play Training Experiences for Kids and the #Ready2Play app. 3. Create digital content that showcases the "power of sports" to transform young lives. 4. Lead the formation of a KC Youth Sports Alliance (KC-YSA) 5. Host high-energy, one-of-a-kind events that raise awareness and support our mission. Children in our city need us now more than ever as they experience an avalanche of pressure this fall returning from extended periods of social isolation, educational uncertainty, and inactivity caused by COVID. We work to develop strong impact partnerships with like-minded individuals and organizations that want help kids heal.
Ensemble Performing Arts is a partnership of community-focused music and dance businesses that maintain individual identities while sharing resources to ensure their mutual success. We believe that a performing arts education is a lifelong journey and is appropriate for individuals of all ages and skill levels. While many of our teachers are equipped to serve students with collegiate and professional ambitions, and we celebrate our students with these meritorious goals, we are equally delighted to work with students of all abilities seeking to enrich their lives through the performing arts. While our focus always begins with safe classroom practices and healthy technique, what follows thereafter depends on a students unique interests, abilities, and ambitions. HAIMER is a family run, medium sized company located in Igenhausen, Bavaria near Munich, Germany. We design, produce and sell innovative, high precision products for metal cutting as well as for other branches including automotive, aerospace, energy, rail and general machining. In addition to our large offering of tool holders in all popular interfaces and lengths, including our shrinking and balancing machines, as well as our 3-D Sensors and solid carbide cutting tools, our product offering also includes tool presetting machines of HAIMER Microset. Out of approx. 800 employees worldwide, 500 work at our main production facility in Igenhausen together with the most modern of machines and a high level of automation. At our second HAIMER production site in Bielefeld with around 50 employees, HAIMER Microset presetting machines are manufactured. As an active apprenticeship company with almost 50 apprentices and a high internal acquisition rate, HAIMER is able to secure its future skilled employees and to fulfill its contribution to further educate young adults, as well as securing the future of our German manufacturing location. As the European market leader in the area of tool holding technology, with a daily capacity of max. 4,000 tool holders, keeping the technological edge of our products is very important to us.
