About the Person

Jim Harrington was appointed senior vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary in May 2009. He is responsible for managing the company's worldwide legal affairs including corporate governance. Previously, Harrington served as vice president, law for two years. Before joining Tenneco in 2005 as corporate counsel, he worked at Mayer Brown LLP in the firm's corporate and securities practice. He has a degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame, a law degree from Northwestern University, and a masters in business administration from the University of Chicago. Harrington is also a certified public accountant.
