Jackson Health System, an integrated healthcare delivery system, consists of its centerpiece, Jackson Memorial Hospital; multiple primary care and specialty care centers; a variety of school-based clinics serving many elementary, middle and high schools; two long-term care nursing facilities; six Corrections Health Services clinics; a network of mental health facilities; Holtz Children`s Hospital, Jackson Rehabilitation Hospital, Jackson Behavioral Health Hospital, Jackson North Medical Center and Jackson South Medical Center. JHS is also home to the Ryder Trauma Center, Miami-Dade County`s only Level 1 adult and pediatric trauma center; and the UM/JM Burn Center, one of the leading burn treatment centers in the nation and the only one in South Florida. Tri-Cities Community Health (TCCH) is an FTCA-deemed facility. TCCH`s Pasco Medical site has been awarded PMCH Level 3 recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance. Our Community Health Center began as a modest-sized medical clinic in Pasco, Washington, in 1981. The clinic was founded by a small group of women in the Pasco community who saw the need to serve low-income community members who could not afford to pay for health care. In 1990, the clinic met the requirements to become a designated Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), which made the clinic eligible to obtain financial support from the federal and state governments to expand services.
Providing Nearly 100 Years of Compassionate Health Care For over a century, the DCH Health System has had local ownership and leadership, and we continually evolve to offer advanced caring to West Alabama. Today, the DCH Health System includes DCH Regional Medical Center, Northport Medical Center, and Fayette Medical Center. DCH Regional Medical Center is the cornerstone of the DCH system. The 583-bed Regional Medical Center offers a variety of specialty units and advanced services, including cancer, cardiology, robotic and minimally invasive surgery, and the region`s advanced trauma center. Northport Medical Center is a 204-bed community hospital that offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient services. The facility also operates important specialty services, including the DCH Rehabilitation Pavilion and North Harbor Pavilion for mental health. Fayette Medical Center, through a lease agreement with the DCH Health System, is a 61-bed rural hospital that offers the residents of Fayette County inpatient care, along with sophisticated diagnostic equipment, surgical techniques and specialty clinics. A 122-bed nursing home on site is fully accredited and licensed for intermediate and skilled nursing care.
