About the Person

Janet Link is Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for Stanley Black & Decker where she is responsible for all legal and corporate compliance matters. She joined the company in June of 2017. Prior to Stanley Black & Decker, Janet served as EVP, General Counsel at J.C. Penney Company, Inc. Before joining J.C. Penney, she was the deputy general counsel at Clear Channel Outdoor Holdings, Inc., and CC Media Holdings, Inc. (now known as iHeartMedia) and a partner at Latham & Watkins. She began her legal career with a U.S. District Court clerkship in the Central District of California followed by a clerkship with the Honorable James R. Browning, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth District. Janet earned her B.A. in English from Yale University and earned her J.D. from Columbia University School of Law.
