About the Person

Jason Johnson is General Counsel of Colorado State University. In his role as General Counsel, Johnson serves to protect the legal interests of the CSU System and the Board of Governors, and oversees the Office of the General Counsel, which provides legal services to the System and to each of its institutions. Johnson is also Special Assistant Attorney General to the State of Colorado. Before joining CSU’s Office of the General Counsel in 2008, Johnson practiced commercial litigation, real estate law, and corporate law in Denver. Johnson earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver in 1999.
