The Secretary of State for Missouri is a member of the executive branch of government and has constitutional as well as statutory duties in the state of Missouri. The secretary is elected every four years.[1] Missouri has a Republican triplex. The Republican Party controls the offices of governor, secretary of state, and attorney general.
