Additionally, he chaired a culture committee, with the goal to improve workplace collaboration and employee engagement and was a member of the racial equity committee focused on the creation of a strategic plan to improve racial inequalities faced by economically disadvantaged students in the district. Marlon has also served DISD as Executive Director, and before that, the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) in various roles, including Associate Strategic Planning Systems Engineer, Senior Programmer Analyst and Database Administrator, and Software Engineer. Marlon is a highly regarded senior technology leader with a passion for empowering people with the tools to transform the lives of students and communities through education.
