About the Person
Kim K. W. Rucker is Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for Andeavor. Ms. Rucker also serves as Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Andeavor Logistics GP, LLC. Ms. Rucker joined Andeavor in March 2016 and is responsible for the company’s Legal and Corporate Affairs functions, which include corporate governance and securities law; litigation; business ethics and compliance; transactions; intellectual property; external and internal communications; community involvement initiatives and federal, state and local government affairs. She advises the Company’s Board of Directors, officers and senior management on legal, business and policy-related matters. Before joining Andeavor, Ms. Rucker served as Executive Vice President, Corporate and Legal Affairs, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Kraft Foods Group, Inc. (now The Kraft-Heinz Company) in Chicago from 2012 to 2015, where she led the legal, corporate affairs and government affairs functions. From 2008 to 2012, she served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Corporate Secretary and Chief Compliance Officer at Avon Products, Inc. in New York. From 2004 to 2008, Ms. Rucker served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Secretary and Chief Governance Officer for Energy Future Holdings, Corp. (formerly TXU Corp.), based in Dallas. She also previously held the roles of Corporate Counsel for Kimberly-Clark Corporation in Dallas, with responsibilities for corporate governance, corporate transactions and securities law, and of Partner in the Corporate and Securities group at Sidley Austin LLP in Chicago. In addition to her roles with Andeavor and Andeavor Logistics, Ms. Rucker is a member of the Board of Directors for Lennox International Inc., which she joined in 2015. She currently serves on the Audit and Governance Committees. Ms. Rucker is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Johns Hopkins Medicine, a nonprofit health enterprise that includes Baltimore’s Johns Hopkins Hospital and Health System, Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and Johns Hopkins International. Ms. Rucker holds a Juris Doctorate degree from Harvard Law School and a Master in Public Policy degree from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. She also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Economics from the University of Iowa, where she was a Harry S. Truman Scholar and graduated with highest honors.
